Former VCP Shri Jalanta Kumar Chakma of Kamalanagar-III  Joins BJP with 16 Family Members

 

Kamalanagar, April 14, 2023: Former VCP of Kamalanagar-III Village Council and prominent political leader, Shri Jalanta Kumar Chakma, has resigned from the Mizo National Front (MNF) party and joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) with 16 Family Members. He handed over the joining letter to Shri Nirupam Chakma, National Council Member, BJP Central.

 

In his statement, Shri Jalanta Kumar Chakma said, "I have been associated with the MNF party for a long time, but after analyzing the current political scenario and the need for change, I have decided to resign from the party and join the BJP. The BJP is the only party that can bring positive changes and development to the Chakma Autonomous District Council."

 

Dangu Nirupam Chakma, NCM, welcomed Shri Jalanta Kumar Chakma to the BJP and expressed his gratitude for the support extended to him by the former VCP. He said, "We welcome Dangu Jalanta Kumar Chakma to the BJP family. His decision to join the BJP is a testament to the growing popularity and acceptance of the party in the Chakma Autonomous District Council. With his support and the support of the people of Kamalanagar III, we are confident of winning the upcoming 11th CADC Election."

 

With the joining of Dangu Jalanta Kumar Chakma, the BJP has strengthened its position in the Chakma Autonomous District Council and is expected to give tough competition to the other political parties in the upcoming election.
