Chakma District Congress Committee (CDCC) is in Actions for earth levelling the road between Kamalanagar-Longpuighat in Chakma Autonomous District Council (CADC)

 

Kamalanagar, Mizoram: The Chakma District Congress Committee (CDCC), Kamalanagar is in action for earth leveling the road from Kamalanagar-Longpuighat which is approximately 48 Km in distance. Some portions of the road are already PCC and some are not. The portions which are not were severely damaged by this rainy season.

 

The ruling MNF in CADC has promised during the last poll for black topping the road within CADC as soon as it comes to power but drastically failed to fulfill its promised. It’s been almost three months no vehicle can ply on this road and people of the villages fall along this road are facing great hardship due to this bad road condition.

 

For this serious concern, the Driver Associations of Longpuighat has approached to the CADC authority for necessary assistance for earth leveling the road so that vehicle can ply smoothly. However, despite being approached multiple times, the CADC authority led by MNF CEM Mr. Buddha Lila Chakma didn’t give any response to them.

 

On 22nd October, 2022 the Driver Associations of Longpuighat has approached to CDCC for necessary assistance for earth leveling the road. The CDCC has committed to the Driver Associations to fulfil this work for the welfare of the general public in CADC and the driver community as well as a mark to commemorate the 50 years of CADC Golden Jubilee. Today, the 27th October, 2022, the CDCC is fulfilling it promise given to the Driver Associations by leveling the road with a JCB from 7:00 A.M onward. The CDCC will always work for the betterment and welfare for the people of CADC in the near feature as well.
